Welcome 👋
You knock. They save. You get paid.
VoltLine is a cheaper home energy & broadband provider, sold door to door. Your job is to knock on doors, show people how much they're overpaying, and switch them to VoltLine. You never touch any paperwork — the household confirms their own details and the switch is handled remotely for you.
How it works — your 4 steps
1 · Knock
Knock on a door, show the savings on your phone, and follow the scripts. Everything you need is in the Pitch tab.
2 · Sign & capture
When they say yes, open + New Lead and fill the short form (name, contact, which plan). Hit close — takes 2 minutes.
3 · They confirm their switch
The household gets a secure link to confirm their current provider, address and a meter/account photo. They enter their own details — never you. No cash ever changes hands at the door.
4 · We switch them, you earn
The switch is processed remotely and VoltLine takes over their supply. Your upfront commission lands as soon as the signup is confirmed — and your recurring commission runs every month the account stays active.
Where to knock
Homes
Residential streets — especially households tied to the big providers paying inflated standing charges and out-of-contract rates. Your strongest pitch.
Small businesses
Corner shops, salons, cafés, small offices — VoltLine works for any premises with an energy or broadband bill. Different commission model (see Playbook bottom).
Best time
Late afternoon and early evening, when people are home from work and have a minute to talk.
Opener
"Hi — quick one: are you on the best energy and broadband deal, or just whatever you've always had? I can show you in 60 seconds how much you're overpaying."
The demo — what to show first
1
Open the Savings Calculator on your phone, put in their current monthly bill, and show the saving live — "this is what you'd keep every month with VoltLine."
2
Then walk them through the VoltLine Bundle — "one provider for energy and broadband, one lower bill, no lock-in, real human support."
3
Hand them your card — they scan the QR and the savings demo opens on their own phone.
Once the signup is in, you're done with that household. The customer receives:
• A confirmation link to confirm their address, current provider and a photo of their latest bill or meter.
• A secure switch link to set up their VoltLine account — they enter their own bank details directly for the monthly direct debit. You never see it, never touch it.
The switch is then processed remotely and VoltLine takes over the supply. If they ask a technical question, just say: "the team handles the whole switch for you — there's no downtime and nothing for you to do."
You never handle the money
All payments go household ↔ VoltLine. Not through you.
• The household pays their monthly bill to VoltLine by direct debit. You never collect a penny at the door.
• They set up their own direct debit through VoltLine's secure link, no bank details are ever shared with you.
• Your commission is a separate payout the VoltLine team sends you after the signup is confirmed. You have zero financial responsibility over the customer's account.
How you get paid
40%
of the signup value — upfrontSign a €249 Bundle and you earn about €100 as soon as the switch is confirmed.
€10
per active account, every monthEvery Broadband or Bundle account you sign pays you an ongoing monthly commission, for as long as they stay with VoltLine. This is your growing, recurring salary, the more homes you switch, the bigger it gets.
If they ask something you can't answer, "great question — let me confirm the exact detail and come straight back to you" always works.
Small-business premises
Any premises with a bill is a valid target
Corner shops, salons, cafés, small offices — VoltLine works for any premises paying an energy or broadband bill.
Your commission for small-business premises:
• Business accounts usually carry a larger bill, so the upfront commission is bigger than a typical home.
• Plus, a business on a Broadband or Bundle plan still pays you the ongoing monthly recurring per active account, for as long as they stay with VoltLine.
Why this matters: a business that switches both energy and broadband is your highest-value signup — bigger bill, bigger upfront, and the recurring runs on the Bundle. Treat owners like partners and they'll refer the street.
Build your long-term income
Recurring per account — a salary that compounds
Every active Broadband or Bundle account adds to your recurring monthly income, for as long as they stay with VoltLine. This isn't a one-off bonus, it's your salary growing one home at a time.

Honest framing: A book of accounts builds over time, don't expect a full page from week one. The recurring only runs on Broadband and Bundle accounts (Energy-only signups pay the upfront and nothing recurring). Income stops if an account leaves, so retention matters. This is long-game passive income, the foundation of a real salary built one home at a time.
lower bills vs the big providers (Bundle)On a €180/month combined bill, the household keeps roughly €30 every month by switching to VoltLine.
€79
VoltLine Energy — from €79/mo · electricity + gasFor homes that just want a cheaper energy supply. Lower unit rates, lower standing charge, no exit fees, real human support.

€89
VoltLine Bundle — from €89/mo · energy + broadbandOne provider, one lower bill, one support line. Best value and the easiest sell. Cancel anytime, no lock-in.
€79

Which plan do I offer? (ask first)
One question decides it:
"Are you happy with your broadband, or are you overpaying on internet too?"
HAPPY → VoltLine Energy
Internet's sorted, they just want a cheaper energy supply. Switch their energy and don't push broadband they don't need.
OVERPAYING → VoltLine Bundle
From €89/mo they get energy + broadband on one lower bill. Always upsell here; it's cheaper for them and pays you recurring.
⚠️ Right plan, not cheapest: Match the plan to what they actually overpay on. Segment by need, not price — never lead with the cheapest tier just to win the signup.
Main Pitch Script — Step-by-step flow
1 — Idea (plant the idea)
Open
"Hi, quick one — are you on the best energy and broadband deal, or just whatever you've always had? I help people on this street stop overpaying. Can I show you something in 60 seconds?"
Seed
"Most homes are paying a loyalty penalty — the longer you stay, the more the big providers charge you. Imagine one lower bill, no lock-in, and a real person to call."
2 — Approach (frame the problem)
The hook
"The big providers bank on you never switching. Out-of-contract rates, rising standing charges, mid-contract hikes. On a €180 a month bill, that's easily €30 a month you're overpaying, every single month, for nothing."
Qualify
"Are you happy with your broadband, or overpaying on internet too?" (HAPPY → Energy track. OVERPAYING → Bundle track.)
3 — VoltLine Energy (show the saving)
Show the saving
"Let me put your current bill in here. See that? VoltLine drops it by about 18% — same electricity and gas, just lower unit rates and a lower standing charge." [Show Savings demo]
Energy pitch
"It's from €79 a month, no exit fees, and we handle the whole switch with your old supplier. No downtime, nothing for you to do."
Objection: "Is the supply actually the same?"
"Identical — same wires, same meter, same reliability. The only thing that changes is who bills you and how much. The switch is invisible at home."
4 — Commitment level (anchor low first)
Energy entry
"To start — just switch your energy. From €79 a month, lower than what you pay now, no lock-in. You're saving from day one. That's it."
Bundle nudge
"If you'd also like to sort your broadband — add it and the Bundle is from €89 a month for both. One bill, one provider, biggest total saving. Want me to price both?"
5 — Commission (pitcher context, not said aloud)
Why this matters to you
An Energy-only signup pays you 40% upfront, once. A Bundle or Broadband account also pays you the ongoing monthly recurring per active account. Every Bundle you sign adds to your monthly salary. Switch their energy first, then add broadband, that's when your income compounds.
6 — VoltLine Broadband & Bundle (close the upsell)
Show Broadband
"This is VoltLine Broadband — full-fibre where you are, cheaper than what you've got, and no surprise mid-contract price hikes. Put it with your energy and it's one bill." [Show Plans demo]
Bundle close
"From €89 a month for energy and broadband together. One provider, one lower bill, switched within a week. On a €180/mo combined bill you keep €30+ every month. Want me to start the switch today?"
Broadband-only close
"Happy with your energy? Then just switch your broadband. From €79 a month, full-fibre, no hidden hikes. Live within a week, nothing changes with your energy. Want me to start today?"
Switch: contract ending
"If your current deal is about to roll onto the expensive out-of-contract rate, now's the moment — let's lock in the lower price before it jumps."
7 — Reinforce (drive the value home)
Savings reframe
"That €30 a month isn't a one-off, it's back in your pocket every single month, for as long as you stay. Over a year that's the guts of €400 for a five-minute switch."
No-risk angle
"There's no lock-in and no exit fee. If VoltLine ever isn't the cheapest for you, you walk, no penalty. The only risk is doing nothing and overpaying another year."
Objection: "I'm with a big-name provider"
"Same grid, same supply — the big name just costs you a loyalty penalty. You're paying extra for a logo, not better electricity."
vs price-comparison sites
"Comparison sites hand you a list and leave you to it. I do the switch with you at the door and you've got my number — same low price, a real person, no faff."
8 — Questions & answers (Q&A)
"How long does the switch take?"
"Usually within a week. VoltLine handles it all with your old provider, there's no downtime and no engineer visit for energy. You'll get a confirmation date."
"Will my power or internet go off?"
"No — energy is seamless, you won't notice a thing. For broadband there's a short changeover we schedule with you, often with no gap at all."
"How do I pay?"
"Simple monthly direct debit straight to VoltLine through a secure link, the same as any utility. You set it up yourself; I never see your bank details."
"Can I leave if I don't like it?"
"Yes, any time. No lock-in, no exit fee. You keep control. Honestly, once you see the lower bill, you won't want to."
Something you can't answer
"Great question — let me confirm the exact detail and come straight back to you." Then message your manager on WhatsApp — never guess at the door.
Competitor Cheat-Sheet 🥊
big-name providers
They rely on a loyalty penalty — rates creep up the longer you stay. "Same grid, same supply. You're paying extra for the logo, not better power."
comparison sites
They give a list and leave you to do the switch alone. "I do the switch with you at the door, same low price, and you've got a real person to call."
other door sellers
Some lock you into long fixed terms with exit fees. "VoltLine is no lock-in, no exit fee — you stay because it's cheaper, not because you're trapped."
cheap broadband-only deals
Teaser price then a mid-contract hike. "VoltLine doesn't spring price rises on you — and bundling with energy beats a broadband-only teaser overall."
Always land these 3
(1) Lower bill, real saving. (2) No lock-in, no exit fee. (3) One provider, one bill, a real local person — me.
