Is there a contract or any lock-in?
No. Lucky Cat is month-to-month — no minimum contract. Cancel anytime with 30 days' notice. If we ever change fees, you get 30 days' written notice and can leave penalty-free.
Do I need special hardware or a POS system?
No. It runs on the phone, tablet or computer you already own — any browser, live in minutes. Your customers order by scanning a QR code, with no app to download. Most POS systems charge €300–500 for hardware before day one; Lucky Cat needs none.
How do payments work, and what are the fees?
Card payments run through Stripe, built into Tillr. The only platform fee is 4.5% on card orders — vs Flipdish's 9.5% and 25–35% on Just Eat / Deliveroo — plus Stripe's standard ~1.5% Irish-card processing, passed through at cost. Bank transfer and cash orders are 0%.
What does it cost to get started?
All three tiers are €99/month. Ownly (full back-office) is + €200 setup, 0% commission. Tillr-only (just the ordering app + card payments, keep your current system) is + €200 setup, 4.5% on card and 0% on cash. Full Stack (both apps) is + €300 setup, 4.5% on card.
